Police appeal after thieves steal items worth 'significant amount of money' from South Cerney auction house

Police are investigating a burglary at an auction house in South Cerney last week in which items worth 'a significant amount of money' were stolen.

The incident happened at around 9.30pm last Wednesday (February 6) at the premises on Broadway Lane.

The offender(s) gained access through a door at the back of the building before making off with a number of pieces of silver and jade worth 'a significant amount of money'.

Anyone with information that think may help the police investigation is asked to call 101 quoting incident 453 of February 6.

Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via the charity's website.

In some cases Crimestoppers may offer a reward of up to £1,000 where information leads to a conviction.
