Spice Lodge

from the moment you walk through the doors to the moment you leave, pleasantly full after great service, you will be treated like a vip. I love coming here, the staff are attentive and helpful, the service is great and the food is amazing. It is nice seeing them embrace two cultures, both indian and thai. I thouroughly recommend trying here if you like a bit of spice in your life

    It was an amazing visit at Spice Lodge. This is my first visit and the food was absolutely great. We booked a party for 10 and they wisely created a menu for us, mix and match with Indian and Thai. Tandoori mix platter was amazing and well marinated meat I ever had. vegetable stir fry is just so fresh and healthy. The staff were very friendly especially the guy with specs, well mannered and resourceful.

    We will back in Cheltenham soon and will look forward to visiting Spice Lodge again.

    One problem is that the toilets are on the upstairs but no doubt it has a beautiful interior.

    Not the best service in the world, but good food!

       

    The food is the best quality Curry I have ever had... EVER!

    But there was one guy who sort of ruined my experience there. He was rude and pushy, pointed a menu in my face and shouted wines. Tried to charge me at the table for a £2.95 Strongbow, I thought I was getting a pint but it was a 330ml .

    To top it off, at the end of the evening I went to pay, he snatched the card and handed me the terminal. Then when he handed my card and receipt back he didn't look me in the eye or even say thanks for my hard earned money!

    Might I add, I'm no monster. I was nothing but a polite customer! You would have thought after spending just over £400 there they would give a little smile?

    3 stars because the food was so good. (That's generous)

    Two cultures in one!

       

    I have eaten here several times and the staff have continuously made me feel like a member of the family. They will go all out to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The food is all very fresh and very good value for money. Would recommend for parties as you can hire rooms at very reasonable rates!

    Great Staff!

       

    I have eaten here several times and the staff make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The food is very tasty and they are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements. Would recommend for parties as there are several different rooms you can hire.
